My Approach
Cognitive behavioural therapy for adults
My therapeutic approach is based on empathy, scientific grounding, and a transparent process that remains clear and understandable to you throughout treatment.
As a psychological psychotherapist specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy, I support adults dealing with emotional distress, personal crises, and challenging life situations.
As a cognitive behavioural therapist, I work exclusively with scientifically grounded and recognised methods of modern psychotherapy. It is important to me that therapeutic procedures, their background, and the individual steps of treatment remain transparent and understandable to you at all times. This creates a therapeutic setting that provides orientation, clarity, and a sense of safety throughout our work together.
The aim is to develop a well-founded understanding of your situation through careful diagnostic assessment and an initial process of getting to know one another. On this basis, we jointly develop concrete questions and therapy goals that are oriented towards your current life situation, your resources, and your personal values.
Modern cognitive behavioural therapy offers a broad range of scientifically grounded methods. I work integratively and select the approaches that best fit your personality, your difficulties, and your goals. The therapeutic work takes place in close collaboration with you: you remain actively involved and take an informed, self-determined role throughout the entire process.
Through my additional work as a certified behavioural and communication trainer, as well as my own professional experience in several DAX-listed companies, I also bring a well-founded understanding of psychological strain in professional contexts. Work-related demands, interpersonal dynamics at the workplace, and persistent performance pressure often cannot be viewed separately from psychological symptoms. My experience enables me to understand and therapeutically contextualise psychological strain in relation to your individual professional situation.

Individual Therapy
After careful diagnostic assessment and the joint clarification of your treatment goals, therapy takes place in the form of individual cognitive behavioural therapy. Treatment is guided by your individual symptoms and your current life situation.
ADHD Assessment
A thorough diagnostic assessment provides the basis for further ADHD treatment, which may also include medication. The assessment can be undertaken independently of subsequent psychotherapy.
Couples Therapy
If difficulties arise primarily within the context of a relationship, therapeutic work together as a couple may be helpful. The focus is on relationship patterns, conflict dynamics, and communication.
Coaching
Not every stressful life situation meets the criteria for a mental disorder requiring treatment. When concrete questions, decision-making processes, or personal development goals are the main focus, coaching may be helpful.
